Rebecca Romijn is an American model, actress and actor famous for portraying the character of "Mystique" in the very first three-part segment of the American superhero film series 'X-Men'. Romijn was also a part of another Marvel superhero film called 'The Punisher In which she played the character 'Joan'. Romijn began her modelling career when she was sixteen. She has since posed for major companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret. The model spent over a decade as a model for major fashion houses. Later, she quit her job in order to pursue an acting career. Romijn's career in Hollywood isn't as successful than her TV career. She portrayed 'Alexis Mead"' in the comedy drama 'Ugly Betty'.
