Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group before they appeared in I.T.V's talent show New Faces. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. It received lots of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some recognition in the 1970s. Later, Lennox joined her fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva produced many successful tracks, such as Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It features cover versions of such songs as No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums as well as a compilation album to her credit.
